Help Vanja Fight for Her Life – Support Our Brave Musketeer

There are four of us. Best friends. Sisters by heart. The kind of friendship people write about — always there for each other, through every joy and heartbreak. We call ourselves the Four Musketeers.

One of us, our beloved Vanja, is in the fight of her life.

In 2021, Vanja was diagnosed with a Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor (PNET) — a rare and often aggressive form of cancer that affects the pancreas. She’s been incredibly brave. She’s endured chemo, endless scans, blood transfusions, and procedures. She’s kept showing up for life with quiet strength and a smile that hides the pain.

But this past month, her body took another devastating blow. Vanja was hospitalized due to a severe infection that quickly turned into sepsis, a life-threatening condition. The infection spread so aggressively that doctors had no choice but to remove her right kidney.

She now faces a long, painful road to recovery.

Vanja is a dedicated high school ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. She loves her students and gives her heart to her classroom. But cancer doesn’t pause for lesson plans. Since her diagnosis, she’s had to take countless days off for treatments, check-ups, and hospital stays. Her paid sick time disappears quickly, and the financial strain continues to grow.

She’s never asked for help. But we are.

We’re asking because we love her. Because she’s fought so hard. Because she shouldn’t have to carry the weight of bills and worry on top of all this pain. We’re asking because even the strongest warriors need an army behind them.

Every dollar helps. Every share helps. Every prayer helps.

Please help us ease her burden. Let’s show Vanja she’s not alone. Let’s remind her that love is louder than fear — and stronger than cancer.
